Here are my 2 favorite slim wallets of all-time.
I'd recommend these wallets to anyone, even family.
Minimalist Wallet: https://amzn.to/2qXYEcG
Slim Bifold: https://amzn.to/2HpaYty
The first is a minimalist wallet I use on a daily basis.
The second is a bifold I use when I need to carry cash.
Let's start with the minimalist wallet
A minimalist wallet should have 3 characteristics:
- Not Metal. Metal wallets will scrape up your cards.
- Has a Pull Tab. Makes it Easy to Take The Cards Out.
- Under 1/2 Inch Thick.
Half inch is the thickness where a wallet will fit very comfortably in your front pocket. That's thin enough that you can't feel it in your pocket.
And my favorite minimalist wallet has all of those characteristics.
It's made of leather which is gentle on your cards.
It has a pull tab which makes accessing your cards a breeze.
And its thickness is .46 inches, meaning it fits perfectly in your front pocket
Oh I forgot to mention... It's also reversible, meaning you can change the color whenever you feel like it.
But sometimes a minimalist wallet isn't enough...
A minimalist wallet is good for 1-2 bills, but what about when you need more?
Or maybe you're going to the airport and need a wallet that helps you stay organized...
That's where the slim bifold comes in
Bifold wallets should have 3 characteristics
Keeps bills flat. Some bifolds will force you to fold up your cash and shove it into a pocket.
Has Quick-Access Slot. It's nice to grab your most-used card without opening the wallet.
Under .6 Inches Thick.
While half-inch is the gold standard, it's hard to find a bifold at that thickness that doesn't skimp on quality.
But .6 inches is thin enough to fit in your front pocket comfortably.
And my favorite bifold has all of these characteristics.
It has a large sleeve for bank notes.
There is a quick-access pocket so you can access your most-used card without opening the wallet.
And it is .56 inches thick, meaning it fits great in your front pocket.
So what should you get? A bifold or a minimalist?
If you're asking for my advice, I'd say get both.
Some days you need a bifold, others you can get by with a minimalist, and it's nice to have the option.
