Money Clip Wallets

Money clip wallets are similar to the “no fold” wallets, but with a money clip built in

Characteristics

  • Made from leather or polyester
  • Has money clip attached to outside of wallet

Pros

  • Slim design, fits easily in front pocket
  • Money clip gives you easier access to cash than standard “no fold” wallet

Cons

  • Most use a magnetic money clip which can be weak. Make sure to read reviews to find one with a strong magnet


Neck Wallets

A wallet with a strap to hang around your neck

Thin nylon or leather cases with plastic see-through compartments designed to hold an ID card. Usually worn around the neck, many have extra pockets for holding small items, hence they also function as wallets.

Cons

  • “Cut and Run” thieves will target this type of wallet. The thieves cut the neck strap to pull it loose. This type of robbery is rarer than regular pick pocketing.
